Suffering: Christianity is uniquely rich in paradoxes and counterintuitive doctrines that challenge human logic and natural inclinations. The teachings of Christ in the Gospels, often invert worldly values and expectations, which stands in stark contrast to more linear or pragmatic systems of belief.
